Clear checks. Honest results.

We examine the page's HTML, published crawler rules, page instructions, text depth, structured data and links to business evidence. No passwords, paid subscription or AI account are needed.

How is the score calculated?

Technical access and restrictions: 35 points. Readable content and depth: 25. Titles, business summaries and contact links: 15. Structured data: 15. Links to supporting evidence: 10. Each check is shown in your report.

The score uses fixed, published rules. Content depth uses word count and vocabulary thresholds, with partial credit. Structured data is checked for recognised types and a named entity with a URL, including JSON, Microdata and RDFa. This is not a full schema validation or content quality assessment. Schema and a particular word count are not requirements for AI search. Backlinks and domain authority are not assessed or scored. It does not measure writing quality or the chance of being recommended. Unsupported platforms do not reduce the score. If a required scored check is unknown, we withhold the score rather than estimate it. The minimum displayed score is 1.

Does a good score mean I appear on ChatGPT?

No. A good score means our basic readiness checks passed. We do not query ChatGPT or other AI services in this free scan. Real mentions depend on the question, search results and platform behaviour.

Why do some platforms say "Could not verify"?

We only report checks we can support with evidence. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude use their published search crawler rules. Google AI Overviews uses Google Search signals and Copilot uses Bing signals. Gemini checks Google Search access and Google's published content use control. Other platforms currently have no implemented direct access check.

Even an allowed crawler rule cannot prove a platform's own servers can reach your site. Firewalls and indexing can still affect access.

What information is sent or saved?

Your website address is sent to this scanner so it can request public pages. No AI provider receives your address from this tool. Scan reports are not stored by the application. Hosting logs may record requests and IP addresses. Temporary request counts help prevent abuse. If you ask for the report by email, your address and a summary of your results are sent to us so we can reply.
